PALLAS CAPITAL GOLD CUP INFORMATION

Trophies: Trophies will be awarded for TPR and IRC (1st, 2nd & 3rd) at each regatta and for the overall winners at the conclusion of the Pallas Capital Gold Cup on the 18 May 2025.

Corinthian Teams: A Corinthian trophy will also be awarded for the best Corinthian team of the season on 18 May. A Corinthian crew can only consist of one professional sailor (Cat 3).

Drops: In the 2025 series there will be no drops for regattas or races.

Owner Driven Class: Only owners can drive for the 2025 season with a Cat 1 (Amateur) driver as substitute. A change of driver will need to be approved by Terry 2 hours prior to the first warning signal at that event.

IRC Events: Newcastle and Port Stephens are both IRC events so we will be racing under the IRC rules on those weekends. I will automatically enter all boats into the IRC Championships (Australian and NSW Championships) unless advised otherwise. This means we need to carry all sails we wish to use in the regatta for these weekends and sail declarations will be required.

Crew Weights: No weighing of crews is required unless protested by another team. Crews are to remain under IRC crew weight allowance as per the IRC rules.

TPR Rating: TPR age calculation is being consistently being considered and this will be refined for 2025. Terry has decided to add 1 rating point to each boat for each aged year.
